Polar Nail Art

Hi everyone! I have another entry to show, this is for spooky's animalistic nail art contest  and  I ask that you check it out (there are so many amazing entries). If you do like my design, please vote for me (polar by ari), voting ends on 6/26.

It was sort of inspired by Thor, I wanted to do a multicolored aurora (like the rainbow bridge) but as I added the 2nd color, it was losing it's effect so I left it as is, still nice but I wanted more color. I later added animals and an eskimo so that it would fit the contest theme. 

please note that on my ring finger it is a seal and not a fish... 

I know I said I was going to show my prize for the contest I won but I didn't have time to take a picture with natural day light to go with the entry, sorry!

Franken: Erio + Nail Art

Sorry for the double post but I wanted to show my entry to Lingling's franken contest, which I won a prize from because there were only 3 entries and 3 prizes, I won prize 3! I really liked this entry and  hope you all do too!

It was kind of hard to capture the base color...

My inspiration was from Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko's Erio. I was captivated by her appearance in the first episode and thought this was the perfect inspiration for this contest.

The concept of this design is Erio wrapped in her mattress and in her mind she is thinking about aliens. That is why she is drawn in the opposite direction.

If you don't understand what I am talking about, don't worry not everyone is into anime.

Next time I am going to show what I got from Leanne from Do not Freeze, I was coming up with a design to go with it but as you can already see, I have been putting the nail pens to good use. 

McCafe Inspired

To be honest, I am a fan of McDonald and it's one of the place I frequent most when eating lunch at school (I can't help it, it's cheap).

So for Swaafie's inspiration contest, it just turned out to be my first time trying the Strawberry lemonade and because I like the color of the drink so much, I based my inspiration on it.

Sorry it's a bit messy I did this design on my right hand, but it proves that this is easy to do :)

Pastel Cute

Hi again!

I love summer because I have more free time but I am looking for a job atm... Haven't worked in a year so don't really feel like working again but oh well, I need the money :D

As some of you have noticed I finally figured out how to use blog roll and change the design of my blog, finally taking a step up from noob status. But the header is from a One Piece doujinshi... don't remember the name but it was in Japanese so it's not on my computer anymore. But I actually wanted to do this design on my nails so I kept this page but it looks so much better as my header :D

I am once again doing a nail art contest on Youtube for Mimimemeko's pastel nail art contest. I love pastel colors so I really enjoyed coming up with a design to match this theme. I dubbed this design Pastel Cute because I think anything pastel is cute so even if my design ain't that cute, at least the name says it's cute. (LOL)
